This two-headed deer necklace exists in that space between tender and unsettling. Two delicate fawns sharing one body. It's strange, yes. But it's also oddly comforting, like finding beauty in the parts of nature that don't follow the rules.
Handmade in NYC, cast in sterling silver using traditional metalsmithing techniques. The detail is absurd for something this small: tiny hooves, defined ears, the subtle curve of their necks. The oxidized finish settles into the crevices, giving the piece depth and a lived-in feel, like it's been part of your collection for years, even when it's brand new.
This isn't jewelry that blends in. It's jewelry that reflects something back to you, something a little dark, a little playful, and entirely yours.
This piece is for the person who sees beauty in oddities and natural anomalies, who wants jewelry with actual meaning, not just decoration. It's for someone who gravitates toward pieces that feel symbolic and personal, who appreciates handmade craftsmanship over mass production, and who isn't interested in looking like everyone else.
Symbolism & Meaning
Two-headed animals have appeared in mythology, folklore, and nature for centuries, representing duality, contradiction, and transformation. This piece holds that tension: innocence and strangeness, vulnerability and resilience, two perspectives existing in one body.
It's for the person who contains multitudes. The one who feels pulled in different directions but keeps moving forward anyway.
Care Instructions
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time. To maintain the oxidized finish, gently wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh polishing, which will remove the intentional darkening in the details. Store in a dry place when not wearing.
For a deeper clean, use warm water and mild soap, then pat dry.
For silver tone and gold tone, you can also clean with a soft jewelry cloth. Also, keep your necklace away from creams, perfumes, and chlorine!
