Fly with Baby Head Abdomen Necklace
MATERIALS:
All parts are sterling silver
DIMENSIONS:
The Fly from the tip of the bail to the bottom of the body measures 18mm, or just over half an inch.
The chain measures 18 inches long.
Flies are disgusting. Nobody wants one in their house, on their food, or buzzing around their head while they’re trying to sleep.
And yet, make one tiny enough, cast it in metal, and replace its abdomen with a baby’s face and suddenly it’s kind of adorable.
This disturbing, adorable creature is exactly the kind of creepy-cute nonsense I enjoy creating. A strange little creature for anyone who has a soft spot for things that are normally swatted, trapped, poisoned, or generally considered unwelcome.
